New Tip : Budget Columns Explained

Meridian News : Prolog 2007 R2 Contains Long Awaited Features
One of the cooler updates in R2, which came out in November of 2007, allows you to secure Tools/Preferences/Options by tab. That's right: you can now lock down the Portfolio and Project specific tabs so that your general end user does not have the ability to make an error that effects the whole database.
Also on the "Gee I want this" list, is a fix to the old sorting issue. You know, where you originally set the ID number to be 2 digits, and when you change it to 3 digits, you find 011 comes immediately after 01. Now you can REFORMAT and alter the current values - padding the old numbers with the 0 required to make the computer sort correctly.

Prolog's annual maintenance fees are going up. This is the yearly payment that gets you access to all upgrade and service packs, access to the Meridian web knowledge base, and the ablility to contact Meridian's tech support.
If you want a 3 year extension at the current price, act before July 1, 2007! Email sales@meridian.com with your license number and request the SSM agreement.
New Tip : Quick Edit
Have you noticed the new QuickEdit feature on Prolog Manager 2007? Your picklists now have checkboxes in the first column, which allows you to select multiple records, then using the QuickEdit button below, you can modify fields all at once.
